PSG maintains a safety training facility and conducts the following training for employees to ensure the highest levels of safety awareness:
- All supervisory personnel pass the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Industry Supervisor Training Metal / Non-Metal.
- OSHA -authorized Construction Outreach Safety Training Program instructors conduct the 10-hour Construction OSHA Training.
- Louisville Gas and Electric authorized Passport/Contractor Safety Program instructors conduct the 8-hour LG&E Passport Safety Training classes.
- Mine Safety and Health Administration authorized instructors conduct the 24-hour New Miner Training Program Part 46 and Part 46 refresher.
- American Red Cross CPR/AED/First-Aid authorized instructors provide this important emergency instruction.

An in-house weld testing facility with a certified inspector at work ensures that all PSG welders are of the highest caliber and that they produce results that always meet or exceed customer expectations.
Each welder undergoes testing and meets the requirements of the American Welding Society Codes and Regulations before they are assigned to either the manufacturing line or field work.
